Tim Fox ’97

Chapter Co-Founder and President  Tim Fox, Class of 1997

Originally from Stony Creek, Connecticut, Tim is a 1997 graduate of USNA and a lifetime Alumni Association member. He is a co-founder of the U.K. Chapter and is past BGO Area Coordinator for U.S. citizens residing overseas. Tim lettered in lacrosse all four years at Navy. Following graduation and commissioning, he served 14 years on active duty as a Surface Warfare Officer and is now a Trader specializing in the currencies and bonds of emerging markets.

Cody Nissen ’11

Chapter Vice President  Cody Nissen, Class of 2011

Cody grew up in Louisville, Kentucky before attending the Naval Academy and graduating with the Class of 2011. Upon commissioning, he served five years as a Marine Infantry Officer, stationed in Twentynine Palms, California. Cody works as an investment banker in London following his graduation from London Business School, where he earned an M.B.A. in 2018.

Chapter Secretary  Lisa Aszklar

Lisa is a Joint Member of the U.S. Naval Academy Alumni Association and has written extensively in support of both the Naval Academy and a military aid society that serves the Navy and Marine Corps. She enjoys travel, cultural exploration, and reading. She holds masters degrees in business and in professional writing and editing. Before relocating to London, she and her husband, a member of the Class of 1981, sponsored several international plebes.

Tony Cox ’89

Member: Board of Directors  Tony Cox, Class of 1989

An Alabama native, Tony graduated with the Class of 1989, majoring in Systems Engineering. He served nine years as a Naval Flight Officer aboard P-3s before transitioning to reserve duty and emigrating to the U.K., where his work experience includes business analysis in the financial services and aerospace industries. He is also active in the Blue & Gold Program, handling the Midlands and Northern U.K.

Tim Phillips ’96

Tim Phillips, a native of Annapolis, MD, graduated with the Class of 1996. He lettered all four years with the Varsity Offshore Sailing Team (VOST), was Treasurer of the Scuba Club, Operations Officer for the Mountaineering Club, and wrote for The Log magazine. Following graduation, he served eight years as a Surface Warfare Officer. In his civilian career, Tim has spent over a dozen years in property development, currently with a £2b fund in London. He holds a Master of Real Estate Development degree from the University of Maryland and an MSc in Sustainable Urban Development from the University of Oxford.
